I wonder how the Keyesters will explain it when Keyes gets horrible ratings because nobody wants to listen to his bombastic verbose talk about himself.

Oh, what am I saying? They'll say two things:

1) Keyes is much too smart for the "rest of us" to understand.

Or they'll say

2) It's because he's black.

Well, this is an interesting development. MSNBC appears to be appealing to the far right with this selection, while Ailes is still following his "we report, you decide" form of balance with the hiring of two known Clinton supporters.

There is one other reason MSNBC could be seriously looking at hiring Keyes: they need a known Bush-basher on board.

Now give him some time. Some of the Cable channels are scrambling for new viewers.... The new hosts will bring their supporters but will they retain the old viewers and garner new ones, enough to make a difference. With the vast number of channels/options the audience is split many ways, thus no one gets a huge rating number now days. 10 p.m., I assume that is Eastern time, if not then they go up against local news which won't help either.

Saw this earlier on Lucianne.com! I don't watch MSNBC and looks like that trend will continue. Personally I prefer to read my news as those talking head shows drive me up the wall. Keyes against Greta -- I pick nothing or CNN! Who would have thought that six months ago I would pick CNN if I watched anything!

I just don't think I am intelligent enough to understand what keyes is saying since he is so much smarter than the rest of us as we keep getting told. Wonder if klayman will be one of his first guests?

..because nobody wants to listen to his bombastic verbose talk about himself.

The most factless statement made on the forum today. Congrats.

I'm alsmost certain that they'll say Keyes is too smart for us to understand. Forget that Keyes is irritating, has an incurable superiority complex and is FAR, FAR, FAR to the end of the Right Wing. I'll be watching Greta.

If Greta goes up head to head with Keyes, I'll watch Greta just for spite.

I will sure be watching and will send e-mail telling them what a great show he has.

Come to think of it, I will do that now!

I wish he was President.
