THE folks at Msnbc are talking to former Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Alan Keyes about hosting a 10 p.m. show up against Fox News' new hire, Greta Van Susteren. Meanwhile, Van Susteren, a lawyer before her O.J. Simpson commentary turned her into a CNN star, reportedly has penned an eight-page memo detailing CNN's demerits. She plans to keep the document secret as long as CNN doesn't try to paint her as an ungrateful traitor.

Very Clintonesque of you.
How would saying an ACTION that somebody did was EVIL not mean the person was EVIL?
If I say that a person MURDERED somebody, does that mean he's NOT really a killer, but his ACTION murdered somebody, not him?
For whatever reason, the Keyes folks won't discuss the deeper issue:
Why they think they are better than everyone else
And even if they were provably better than (which they are not) how does that give them license to trash the rest of us
They pretend to not understand the acrimony -- yet they refuse to discuss what they do that is so offensive to others
As I say, arrogance almost always leads to delusion
From the article:
"So when he stands toe to toe with Al Gore on issues like abortion, he will come off looking second best because he doesn't know how to make the case properly and effectively -- and so we'll lose."
Now if that doesn't say that Gore is better than Bush at making his point then nothing does! BTW are you keyes?
Now why am I NOT feeling the love in this statement. ROFLMAO.
See #399.
We NEVER come without the facts, a claim you can NEVER make, Rowdee.
It is quite clear that you do not know what you are talking about. To do a little fact checking, go back and check out Keyes threads that have less than a hundred posts. Usually that means that the usual suspects did not show up and start a flame war. You will generally find calm discussion of issues, with virtually no personalities discussed. If you find an exception to this, please ping me. Based on your comments, you have not happenned upon these threads.
Yep, I can back that up. I think I still have copies of those threads.
He asked his people to vote for Bush.
Keyes voted for Bush.
Keyes supports Bush's un-Constitutional war on terrorism.
I would think that that would be enough support.
How much support does he have to give before you consider him a good Republican?
Do you think Keyes has to worship at the alter of the mighty Bush to show support?
It seems that Keyes can never be forgiven for the sin of running against Bush.

Yep, I can back that up. I think I still have copies of those threads.

I'm ready, Master Packrat.
Oh please share......pretty please. I want to see them stumble over themselves trying to squirm out of the facts. I used to have the copies of many of the threads but foolishly deleted them, thinking that Keyes was just a vague memory.
How about showing me where Keyes has stated he supports Bush anywhere on anything. And I do mean WITHOUT adding something like, "Mrs. Bush's speech was good, but I think she should have talked about abortion."
I mean without qualifying it.
Let me see here.
Bush has said,"Let's move on" about the Clinton stuff.
"Keyes stuck mainly to religious and philosophical themes.
The only thing that I see that Keyes had wrong was the "Bush can't win".
Rowdee, you are toooo sweet! I am hoping the day will soon be here when I can be more involved again. It really means a lot to know I have been missed.
Do you think that I am less than Hitler? That is what you said isn't it?
Are you willing to discuss the issue of arrogance??? Do you think the Keyes and Keyes supporters are better than everyone else? And why?
You do realize that he was a State Department appointment (Ambassador) and ran Citizens Against Government Waste. I doubt that he will have much of a problem talking on these topics, and others.
