The word "Catholic" means "universal," not white. Not only that, but the values that Pat rails against are those of the urban, upper middle class,
white Europeans and Americans. In sub-Saharan Africa and South America, on the other hand, Christianity is vibrant. If our atheist intelligentsia want to contracept itself out of existence, people like Buchanan should celebrate. He claims to be a devout Catholic, and yet he throws an incredible fit that we are being inundated with Catholic Mexican immigrants. It is incredible how despite the anticlericalism of the Mexican Goverment, Catholicism thrives among at least 85% of the Mexican populace. When I was there last year, the Churched were full during every mass.
