In the excerpts above - I have not read the book - I note nothing that is "racist". Please elaborate.

BTW, I'm one of the "white" European-Americans who left California because of what it is becoming. Enforce immigration laws? Who are you trying to kid? The immigration laws are purposely not enforced.

Sad but true. In this city they go all out NOT to enforce the laws and we even have a mayor who said in a debate a month or so ago, that he supports NOT enforcing the immigration laws. That would be Lee Period Brown that made that statement.
