"Buchanan makes NONE of the claims you attribute to him in the book. Why don't you try reading it before pontificating about it? Good point Thorin. A few posts back, garbonzo was accusing others of distorting the facts and resorting to slander."
Goebbels made up big lies too.

He's not even speaking in code - it's pretty much right there. The "Third World" hordes are nigh upon us. He gives no reason why Homo sapiens from the "Third World" are somehow worse for American than other peoples or some reason why they can't learn Shakespeare, or practice Christianity, etc.

I've just asked for good evidence, not proof, that his views differ substantially from those espoused by the KKK. I dont actually know what the exact views the KKK has or what exactly they want myself and I bet alot of other people dont either. So instead of asking others to prove a negative why dont you back up and define you assertions about Buchanan and racism. Why is that so hard to expect on this subject?

I won't say there aren't racists but I happen to live near a town that is 80% hispanic and the town I live closest to is 95% hispanic and I guarantee you that very many non-white/non-anglos are opposed to illegal immigration and high legal immigration. I haven't met a single black yet who thinks there should be no controls at all on immigration and I'm not sure I've met a hispanic that believes there shouldn't be either (especially the ones who went through the legal way and followed the rules). Every hispanic I knew was applauding Operation Blockade and Hold the Line because they were sick of the problems----I don't think immigration is a race issue at all ----blacks were here before most groups and I never assume a hispanic is an immigrant because many were here before the SW became the US. Even if there are racists, I've never heard or read one suggest that if countries like Sweden or Germany were dumping their welfare class on us or other leaders were demanding we take any people they didn't want, it would be fine.

These weren't the people who made the Third World the third world - for that you'd have to bar the members of the IMF and World Bank and various dictators from the US.
Which means their citizens are less likely to go on the dole
Please. The residents of these countries are already on the dole - you might have heard of socialized medicine.
To my knowledge Pat Buchanan has never said Christianity is not practiced worldwide.
In an interview for Pravda - Pat made the following claims: He claims the Europe is the Faith and the Faith is Europe. He goes on to say that "they" (i.e. the brown-skinned people) won't practice our faith or respect our culture. You can look it up on FR.

Why is that so hard to expect on this subject? It's hard to expect because garbanzo and his ilk want to race bait and slime.
Defining terms and not asking people to prove a negative are elements of an HONEST debate, something with which this guy is definitely not familiar.

Oh please - let's not play idiot here. If you didn't fall asleep in history class you know what the KKK stood for and stands for.

"It's hard to expect because garbanzo and his ilk want to race bait and slime. " He also throws in the Goebbels big lie that Buchanan opposes 'brown skin' Mexicans because they are not Christian.
To: garbanzo
I read the entire Pravda interview. Buchanan never used the term "brown skinned people". Those are your words. You are the race-baiter you accuse others of being.

You (purposely I think) confuse our constitutional rights that guarantees uniformity of rights and that EVERY person is to be regarded equally under the law with our dysfunctional, undisciplined immigration policies. The Federal government has broad rights in determining the whos and the whats of peoples granted entry to America. These immigration powers are fully constitutional. Once a person is here the law applies equally to them as others with certain exceptions such as the right to vote until a person gains citizenship.

A good test to determine the true rulers of any society is to ask who it is you aren't allowed to criticize.
Another good question is: What are the subjects that cannot be discussed rationally and why?
The answer to that one is telling, too.

Do you find it an admirable goal to reduce our percentage of the populas as a whole to numbers below 50%? Our?
Anyway...I don't care if America is 95% white or 5% white. I believe racial and ethnic "self-determination" is an abomination and should be abhorrent to any civilized person. The core premise of America isn't a question of skin color - it is a belief in the fundamental dignity of all humans regardless of race or national origin.
It's the 21st century - we should move beyond looking at biological irrelevancies like skin color. If American becomes less than half white then so be it as long as the fundamental premises of America hold.
And this is where the rubber meets the road - Pat doesn't believe we brown-skinned types, on the whole, have what it takes to run America properly - otherwise he wouldn't be alarmed.
