Hindus do not have page after page in their religious writings urging them to take over the world by storm and slaughter.

I see you haven't read the Vedas. Not quite as bad as the Koran, I admit, but they're not about peace and love, I'll tell you that much.

Most of the 4 Vedas are hymnals filled with chants, songs and poems used during ceremonies. But the greater religious meaning is one of personal enlightenment through meditation, prayer and yoga. As opposed to Jihad.

Additionally, they are historical texts, providing a perspective into life 1500 years before Christ was born. They have as much influence on Buddhism, Janism and Sihkism as they do with Hinduism.
