Thanks NA, for the information you gave me in mid-November just before my wife and I left for Amsterdam. The people were terrific, and the sights were awesome. We stayed in Haarlem the first night, and then headed for Amsterdam. We also visited Edam, and the Hague. We were greatly impressed by the beauty of Amsterdam, and the friendly disposition of the people. If you're not interested in art, culture, good food, history, and beautifull sights, you wouldn't want to visit Amsterdam.
