Beautiful gif. You and Christine will have a perfect Christmas Eve with friends and may Christmas Day be just as much fun, too. Merry Christmas to you both, and to Lodwick and wife.
To: Mo1
Thank you. Have a blessed Christmas.

Well, did kitchen duty sharing work??? Huh? Huh? Huh?

pork chops, pork chops, BBQ sauce, pork chops, corn chips...pork chops, grilled Vidalia onion, pork chops, corn bread, pork chops...
Too funny, although an hour ago at the grocer I laid in a goodly amount for the coming week. (The genius in charge of the meat dept. cannot figure out how much pork he will sell, so there's always a ton of deeply discounted pork parts. Take that usama.)
I hope Bill and Chris like Texas style chili, with beans, my signature spinach salad featuring lots of peppered, thick-cut baked BACON, home made corn bread with butter and red plum jam, beverage of choice, Chris' cake, Guatemalan coffee, and maybe some Don Julio after dinner (if I've not passed out by then.)
Should be a very nice time. JL

Gavin decided we'll have baked potatoes instead. *L* Okay. He's gonna do 'em, he can choose. With the ham in the oven, it will be easier to squeeze in 4 bakers than a pan of scalloped potatoes anyway.

Hi Val
are they wearin' their fancy new duds to Loddy's dinner party
or are they holdin' off till New Years eve
Love, Palo
To: palo verde
They are holding off until New Year's Eve, I'm sure.
To: ValerieUSA
It'll be jeans and tennies tonight. The duds are for New Year's Eve
[only cuz I hafta] Believe it or not, I'd rather stand in line at a soup kitchen than an opera. Can't eat an opera!
Are you gonnq to bring me some of those scrumptous cookies. Your boys wouldn't eat 'em all, would they?
To: palo verde
Merry Christmas to you, too, sweet palo!
Love, Bill
To: okimhere

Jim, it sounds like sleep will come early for all tonight in the Lodwick abode ;-) Have a chop before the guests arrive, in case you get a bit peckish:-)Good down home Texas eats, but no...chops or brisket?? Oh my!! Have fun and tell Chris to stay off the computer tonight, she'll be sorely tempted to log on at your house!! LOL
To: steveegg
Merry Christmas Steve
I send you every blessing
Love, xxx, Palo
To: lodwick
Jim, you'll never invite us again, once you see how much I eat!
To: lodwick
loddy!!!
that is a feast for a king!!!!
you are amazing!!!!
Love, Palo
To: ValerieUSA
Smart boy!!! "Peel your own" said in a very nice way. Now that it's so cold, whenever I bake anything, I put a potato or two in beside it for use later as fries. Smells the house up so nice to bake things, too.
To: BillofRights
I have half of the dough saved, Bill (if only I could that with money *L*) there will always be cookies. *L*
To: y'all
Bye-bye all, gotta shower and go! Wearin' my baggies so I can gain 10 pounds tonight!
To: Mo1
Oh Mo, I'm so sorry.
To: BillofRights
lol I had a hunch you'd be wearin' jeans tonight
it sounds like loddy wants everyone to be comfortable
Love, Palo
