Counseling and decisions about sanity and improvements to the quality of life are fairly subjective, particularly when the doctors involved have a financial interest in performing the operation.

Ever heard of the hippocratic oath. Also, if you think about it, most things in life are subjective. It depend on your point of view. And I didn't make the requirements, I just told you was some of them were.

First of all, sexual orientation is a choice, here is an example: I have an ex-friend of mine who was married for eleven years, had four children and a stable life. He began to run with a "different" crowd of people and woke up one morning supposedly "Gay". Now if he were truly gay, then the thought of being with a woman should utterly repulse him, as a straight male the thought of being with another man repulses me. His ability to "go gay" proves that sexual orientation is a choice, if one allows oneself to be swayed or lured into that lifestyle. How if sexual orientation is not a choice, do you explain all of these hollywood types that are gay, then straight, then gay again?? Its a mental deficency, no more no less.

Ive seen transvestites on tv, who look very good as women but the problem remains they are male. No matter what they do, unless they have medical intervention they are male, will always be male and will die male.

But you know something, there are rare occasions where someone will be born as a female even though they have a Y chromosome and there are even rarer occasions when a those without a Y will be born resembling a male. Whenever there's an imperfect system it leads to questions of what's "obvious" and what isn't. I really dont think that this is that difficult, If one has a penis, one is a male. If one has a vagina and clitoris, one is a female. Can we not even state this as fact anymore???

Either way though what you have posted states, that one is either born with or without a penis. If one has a penis, one is considered a male. If one is born without a penis, one is considered female. Its really not that difficult.

Gender identity is very real, and for whatever reasons, some people are stuck in the "wrong" body.

If anyone doubts this, they should read "As Nature Made Him," by John Coliptano, a great book.

I really dont think that this is that difficult, If one has a penis, one is a male. If one has a vagina and clitoris, one is a female.

Well if you want to get technical, there are cases where a baby was born with both a penis and a vagina. It is rare, but it does happen from time to time.

If you say to the Dr. "Well Doc, I know I have this penis and all, but I'm really a girl, so gimme some birth control pills." The first trip you will make from that Doctors office will be straight to a mental unit.

A baby being born with both a penis and a vagina is 1 in 10,000.

Some other types of genital deformities are 1 in 1,000.

Gender has nothing to do with how you feel about it, it just is, same as race. I can wake up tomorrow and decide to call myself black, but im white and the only person that will recognize me as black is myself. If you have a penis, you are a male and if you have a vagina, you are a female. Do you not realize how absurd you sound to most people, when you try to challenge this??
