Don't know how accurate this info is, but I'll be praying for his implant to take hold. God speed, Rush. Merry Christmas.<psw

What surgery? I assume it's for his ears. But, I only get to listen to him sporadicaly any more. Can you elaborate?
It makes me want to cry everytime I hear him get spun up and his voice really starts sounding high pitched and so un-Rushlike.
I'll say a quick prayer.

I thought he said it would be around late Jan.

The host sitting in for Rush today indicated that Rush was on vacation.

A heartfelt prayer for the man who gave a voice to the silent majority. God Bless You Rush!

Hail Mary for Rush....
To: BibChr
I thought it was in January too. Could this be just his usual vacation time due to the holidays?
He might be getting all his pre-surgery stuff done too... Blood work, EKG, X-rays etc. That's usually done a week or two before elective surgery. Sometimes up to a month before. I think it's more likely that is what he's having done, and possibly more tests on his ears. (Pre surgery tests, MRIs, etc.)
To: Sungirl
didn't know. God be with him, and his surgeon(s).
If you would of listened to him, he told us that he should be hearing around January....that after the implant, it would take about a month to kick in.
Trust me...he's having the surgery...after all, I'm from Palm Beach county.

Only teasing...I believe you.

Here is the schedule of great guest hosts sitting in for El Rushbo:
December 19 - Mike McConnell of WLW in Cincinnati
December 20 - Bill Handel of KFI in Los Angeles
December 21- Dr. Walter Williams
December 24 and 25 - The Best Of Rush
December 26-28 - Roger Hedgecock of KOGO in San Diego
December 31-Jan 1 - The Best of Rush
As always, we'll archive each guest-hosted show for members, so you won't miss any of the action - and - of course, you can hear any of Rush's recent broadcasts in our audio archive. Plus: our new Rush Song Parody archive! Right now, it features your most-requested song parodies - and, as a special bonus, some classic and new Paul Shanklin holiday favorites that you can play over and over again all through the season. Don't forget to check it out!

I want to do all I can.....should I cross my fingers or pray? Is there somebody listening if I just cross my fingers?
To: babylonian
Why don't you cross your fingers so they form a cross...that may be seen and understood.
