Let's get some things straight:

• The KLA received support from al Qai'da, as did the more radical elements among the Bosniac Muslims.
• The Racak massacre was fake by the Albanians.
• The Sarajevo market was shelled by the Bosniac Muslims--according to Japanese observers' analysis to provoke a NATO intevention.
• The Serbs are Christians.
• The Albanians and Bosniacs are Muslims.
• Slobodan Milosevic was not a nice ruler, but the number of civilian dead per enemy combattant in his counterinsurgencies was outstripped by America at Waco, Ruby Ridge or the MOVE seige in Philadelphia in the days of Mayor Wilson Good.

We continue to make the Balkans safe for Islamist radicals, and our policy will come back to bite us. In case it has escaped you, gratitude to non-Muslims does not seem to be an Islamic virtue: our foreign policy has plainly been pro-Muslim everywhere except Palestine for decades, and upon reflection has been objectively pro-Muslim there too--only America restrains Likud-governed Israel from wiping out its enemies. bin Laden is the Islamic world's thanks for our troubles.

Perhaps the Serbs simply have a clearer understanding of our now common enemy, having dealt with them for centuries.

Bosnia is not a extremist Islamic state, and life is settling back to a more normal level, I have mates serving over there now and it is a hell of a lot better than when I was out there in 1993.

Then it was overrun with criminals, Para militaries and adventures of the worst kind, although there were many decent people on all sides.

Yugoslavia was a classic case of what happens when nationalism, corruption and criminals all allowed to hold sway

The Sarajevo market was shelled more than once and in many cases the shells were proved to come from Serb positions.

The Break-up of Yugoslavia was more than just an Islamic Vs Christian thing, but not many people care, as far as most on this site the war started in 1995 in Krajina.

The Racak massacre was fake by the Albanians

The Racak massacre was a set up by the KLA of which a lot of the Kosovar Albanians are unaware. The KLA used the situation to their advantage. It was common for villagers to take up arms under control of the KLA in order to defend their village. Of course the KLA had its own agenda i.e. In this case a ditch full Racak villagers of which the majority were men of fighting age. Another interesting point that a lot of people have not picked up on is the fact that RACAK and surrounding area is a very strong LDK/Rugova supporting area. So what if some of the political opposition got wasted after all its for the cause of the KLA and its grab for power.
