Government schools have DARE (which has been shown to be worthless). A report just came out, based upon research funded by the American Bar Association no less. The results? School based D.A.R.E. and other such high-minded programs, despite the tens of millions of dollars spent on them over the years, have had NO EFFECT whatsoever on curbing drug use.

I'm sorry, but I must disagree. DARE has been quite instrumental in educating children on drugs. How to identify them, how much they cost, how to buy them, how to use them, what effects to expect and, importantly, how to avoid prosecution when the police, or the parents, catch you with them. DARE turns out not to be an educational program against drugs, simply education about drugs.
