If I weren't about to exit to fetch wife #2, who still can't drive due to surgery, I'd get into it a bit more.... suffice it to say that cars are extremely dangerous instruments in the hands of the careless, impaired, or distracted, and that they maim more than they kill- but we tolerate a lot of that in exchange for the freedom to move when & where we all want to....
