I read somewhere recently that Britney is worth about $50MM. If she cares so much about animals, I hope she has scrutinzed her portfolio to determine that no investment she holds has anything remotely to do with killing animals.
She is really shameless.

"Britney to strip..."
As in the film "The Graduate" the word is "Plastic"

Brit is from Kentwood...about 20 miles from where I live. There are plenty of cattle farms in the area. Let Brit know that her advertising campaign will put a bunch of her neighbors out of a job.

I've been thinking of going anti-fur, maybe some nice pics will persuade me :-)
by becoming "anti-fur", does this mean she shaves now?

I've always thought that wearing faux leather, fur, whatever, is disingenuous. I don't wear (or eat) animal products, and it seems that faking same, in an ethical sense, is nearly as bad. The Kid.

Cool; my husband owes me $50. I knew her career was tanking when she started to change her image (ticking a lot of people off i the process), and bet him that we'd see her goodies before she turned 21.

Was there ever any doubt that Britney would "go naked rather than wear fur"?

Most of the millions of cows, pigs, sheep, and goats slaughtered for their skin endure the horrors of factory farmingovercrowding, deprivation, unanesthetized castration, branding, tail-docking, and de-horning. At the end of their short, miserable lives, they are stunned, skinned, hung upside down, and bled to death.
The meat industry relies on skin sales to remain profitable. Buying leather directly contributes to factory farms and slaughterhouses since skin accounts for 55 percent of the byproduct value of cattle.
Every time you choose to buy a leather jacket or leather shoes, you sentence an animal to a lifetime of suffering. Join the millions of consumers who are realizing that "hairless fur" is something we can do without. You can choose from hundreds of styles of nonleather clothing, shoes, belts, bags, and wallets. Fashion should be fun, not grisly!
Can steaks or chops come from something without a skin?
