Britney to strip off for new advertising campaign |
Britney Spears is to strip off for a new anti-fur advertising campaign.
She is to become the new I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur poster girl.
Britney has also agreed to model fake-leather clothes on the pleatheryourself.com website.
The site is run by protest group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
A spokesman for PETA told the New York Post: "It's very exciting news. We are really thrilled to have Britney join our new crop of fur-fighters".

Just some more of the no talent crowd making a bunch of money that passes for quality entertainment somehow. The way it has gone and still goes, when tthey are "Teen idols", ittoo, shall pass! They get used to all the attention and will do whatever it takes to hold on to it. Even disgracing yourself and your family. She should just marry someone with a longer lasting career like a lawyer. LOL

These people know that sex sells. And they will do anything sexually to make sure it sells.

Uh, you all do realize that no one is actually naked in these adds, right? The pictures do not show anything. Surely you all have seen the one with Naomi, Claudia, Kate etc....?

You're right, this girl is just following exactly in Madonna's footsteps, she'll do anything it takes to make a buck and be famous, when you don't have all that much talent, you sing with most of your clothes off. It's amazing to see really talented women who can make it through an entire song with everything left on.

I usually listen to rock music but I saw Enya sing on some show the other day. She has a very beautiful voice and she kept everything on for the entire song. You'll never find the untalented show girls like Britney or Madonna be able to do that, one fully clothed performance and the career is over. But they are getting rich doing it the way they are.

"But they are getting rich doing it the way they are."
Sicko entertainers would never make it unless their audience was just as sick. I like Enya and others.

The oh-so-beautiful Britney without several hours' and thousands of dollars' worth of professional makeup artists attending to her:

From pleatheryourself.com -
Most of the millions of cows, pigs, sheep, and goats slaughtered for their skin endure the horrors of factory farmingovercrowding, deprivation, unanesthetized castration, branding, tail-docking, and de-horning. At the end of their short, miserable lives, they are stunned, skinned, hung upside down, and bled to death.
The meat industry relies on skin sales to remain profitable. Buying leather directly contributes to factory farms and slaughterhouses since skin accounts for 55 percent of the byproduct value of cattle.
Every time you choose to buy a leather jacket or leather shoes, you sentence an animal to a lifetime of suffering. Join the millions of consumers who are realizing that "hairless fur" is something we can do without. You can choose from hundreds of styles of nonleather clothing, shoes, belts, bags, and wallets. Fashion should be fun, not grisly!
Can steaks or chops come from something without a skin?
