The boy's father, Rick Shaftan, is a conservative political consultant, published here in National Review and here on FR. I can almost hear the lurch in Dad's tummy when his kid said, "I miss the socialism..."

I can almost hear the lurch in Dad's tummy when his kid said, "I miss the socialism..."I'll bet there was a huge guffaw in the courtroom when young Zach said that!

I knew what socialism was when I was in the 6th grade. I had read Marx's manifesto by then. Considering modern education is about indoctrination rather than education I suspect the kid knew exactly what he was saying.

I was surprised to see that NJ forces children to take these contaminated vaccines. In Florida you just go down to the religious exemption nurse at the health department and say "I want a religious exemption from all vaccines for my child" and she asks no questions. She automatically fills out a card that looks just like the immunization card but it says on the top "religious exemption" and gives it to you. Hand that over to the school and they have to keep their mouths shut. I can't imagine putting that filthy disease in my childs body. Twenty percent of people who get that hepetitus b vaccine end up getting the disease. Yuck...

Carroll argued that Zachary Shaftan is being denied his constitutional right to a free public education because of unyielding enforcement of the regulation. Whoa there, stop the presses. Are they reading from a different damn version of the Constitution than I am? I don't recall the phrase, NOR ANYTHING LIKE IT being ANYWHERE in there...

Personally, I am against all forced innoculation. However, measles, mumps, and German measles are easily spread in a school situation and can have deadly results if caught as an adult. While I would prefer not to have innoculated against those diseases I did so, rather than jeopardize the life of another. There is not a single case of hepatitus being communicable in the same way as the above three.....or chicken pox which spreads like wildfire through the munchkin population.

I was surprised at that too. Michael Patrick Carroll is a great friend of the Constitution (he's a state assemblyman who is very pro-2nd Amendment and anti-abortion), so it's hard to believe he said that. Wondering if it may be the reporter's mistake.

"I miss the socialism and the teachers," he said, before his father corrected him to say socialization. He had it right the first time.

From the mouths of babes........

I believe the chicken pox vaccine is more likely to cause complications than the disease itself (contracted naturally).
It is also produced using tissue from aborted fetuses.

So far I've found this, but nothing on the 20% infection rate
from the vaccine itself (?) you mentioned...
"Children younger than 14 are three times more likely to die or suffer adverse reactions after receiving hepatitis B vaccines than to catch the disease," states Jane M. Orient, MD, executive director of AAPS [Association of American Physicians and Surgeons]. "It is one thing to bar a student from school if he is carrying an infectious disease ... but to require a questionable medical treatment as a condition of attendance crosses over the line to practicing medicine." -Vaccine Safety Questions Rise

I never allowed my kids to have the chicken pox vaccination. However, I was just pointing out that certain diseases do spread like wildfire through the kiddie population....hepatitus is not one of them........
If parents have a limited choice as to the vaccinations they should opt to do them later rather than sooner. Three week old babies should not be having all this stuff shot into their immature systems.
We have a friend with a VERY handicapped child born after she had German Measles during her pregnancy and wouldn't think of aborting.

Three week old babies should not be having all this stuff shot into their immature systemsRight, we delayed most of the required vaccinations for our kids as long as possible.
If we had to do it over again, we'd probably have homeschooled the lot and avoided vaccinations altogether, except perhaps for the measles and tetanus shots.

The video by Len Horowitz "Aids, Ebola" and has all the documentation from the company that produces the hepetitus b vaccine that shows statistics on that vaccine. His book has copies of the material that you can order from your public library from the CDC. Its amazing how those vaccination producers are protected from any negative press $$$...

Maybe he meant,
"I miss the socialism from the teachers."
