December 12, 2001 -- President Bush is reported ready to announce this week what he has long promised: The United States will formally withdraw from the 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty.
That's the right thing to do - and never mind the hand-wringing and wailing that's sure to come from Democrats.
