You're saying that Bush's deference to this cult is just a strategy of which you approve, but you're revealing his strategy to the public on an internet forum

I am another who believes this is part of the strategy to co-opt the terminologh of the left. In this way the left is left (get it) with no political platform that resonates with their own. (Yes Islam is a great religion, but some of its adherants must be killed, before they do another great wrong to the West.)

He has done this to education as well, and if you look for this strategy you may see it in aspects of Ashcroft's running of the justice department.

Call me suspicious but I can only see it as a strategy for becoming what he pretends to oppose. Bush ran on a platform which simply pointed out that he could get Gore's agenda passed and Gore couldn't. All during the campaign his supporters kept saying that we should see it as a strategy and that he would fool them all.

It looks like a cabbie's strategy of making four left turns, apologizing all the way, after you told him to turn right, except the cabbie gets around to making the right turn once he's padded your meter reading by four blocks. Bush won't make the right turn after all, you watch.
