My son's best friend is one of those 37,000 troups. I'm actually quite amazed that North Korea hasn't made more noise than this before now.

It has and it does. About every six months or so North Korea darkly warns the world that war is hours away and NPRK are going to give the US and South Korea a vicious thrashing. North Korea has been cranking out the dire and dour threats like link sausages for years.

Intriguingly, North Korea contacted the US the day of the attacks (9-11) to emphatically say that they had nothing to do with them. On that day, they were terrified of the US. To be honest, this is most likely just the North returning to it's usual attitude. Or perhaps, they're worried that the US will stop NKPA missile sales to Middle Eastern nations. The North badly needs that cash since it's their only real source of income outside of expatriates sending money back to families in the North.
