It will be days and days before we get them input to run credit card program. Willa and I are inputing the regular donations now. That alone will take two or three days. We do not work at it full time, but it does take both of us. I read them , she types. Just looking at the stack of papers, I'd say we have about 500 more entries to input.

This is great news and a step forward to having enough monthlies to carry most of the financial weight of Free Repbulic.
Now for a little non Laz math to show the importance of monthly donors. The pledged monthly $'s from the monthly gang should bring in ($7,100 X 12 months) = $85,200 pledged to come in for 2002.
That $85,200 surpasses the quarterly goal of $80,000 per quarter! So the gang of monthly donors with just their monthly donations are providing 1/4 of the financial needs of Free Republic. I know that many of this elite gang donate generously during the quarterly drives above and beyond their monthly donation!
We should work in 2002 to increase the number of Freepers who pledge on a monthly basis. Each new monthly donor represents a more stable and powerful Free Republic Life Form!

Go to the bar graph on the top of this home page, and click on this section at the top of the bar graph, "Receipts & Pledges to-date: $83,225"
When you double click that section, you will be brought to the Home Page for the donations by credit card. Then put in your new monthly amount. Then go to the comments section and leave BadJoe a comment that you are upping your monthly to a new level". Then submit the form. You should be finished in about a minute or so!

When you posted yesterday, how quick this Freepathon would be over, I felt that you would be adding in the monthlies to get us close to the goal! It really started a positive flurry or feeding frenzy. I was gone for about 4 hours, and boom, we were over the goal when I returned to Free Republic. That was really great, Joe! It is still working!
