Sadly, it shouldn't be our call whether Israel should defend itself. Why do they need our permission.
They'll realize that when they get pushed too far and act on their own for their survival. And they'll be right to do so.

I was glad the US didn't ask for restraint this time instead they said that Israel has a right to defend itself.

Funny, right now I have more faith in America's will to fight terrorism than Israel's. That speaks very highly for George W. Bush.

Let the Arab states cut off our oil. We can walk or ride horses. We can burn wood for heat in winter. I agree with everything except this part. If they cut off our oil, we shouldn't go back to horses. We should just take "their" oil, which is really only theirs for as long as they can defend it -- Just like they perceive Israel is only for the Jews as long for as the Jews can defend it. When they recognize other people's rights, that's when we will recognize theirs. We have appeased the Arabs for too long in this any many other regards. It's their turn to start appeasing.

It sounds and looks like Isreal wants to help us in some very real ways in our
WAR on Terrorism. When we are done in Afganistan we can head west. They can clear out Palestine and start into Syria. We will meet somewhere around where the Euphaties and the Tigris join together.
Yea....Thats the ticket!!
