Speaking of the murder of more than two dozen Israeli civilians last weekend by what one wire service called "Islamic militants," Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld correctly and unequivocally said on NBC's "Meet the Press": "The only way to defend against terrorists is to go after the terrorists."

(I'm having way too much fun tonight.)
I agree- well said, good point.
The only sense in which it is "theirs" is that they took it away from us in the first place.
In the civilized world, things don't belong to people because of their blood-they belong to people who create or buy them.
We found the oil (after discovering and developing productive uses for it), we created the means to recover it, developed a transportation and marketing system for it, and designed, produced, and installed the infrastructure which keeps it flowing.
After which the Saudi Arab barbarians, who design and create nothing, stole it from us.
Now, admittedly, we acquiesced in this rapine because of the degenerated nature of our political system, preferring instead to accept Saudi bribes to politicians in exchange for continued access (at their prices).
However, by any rational definition of ownership, it's our oil, not theirs-and I see no problem with taking it back.
Israel must destroy the homes and villages of every suicide bomber. This is the best way od discouraging their activity, and destroying Hamas.
They and we must destroy, I mean kill, every suicide bomber and sleeper. They will never be discouraged as they embrace martyrhood over victory or survival. Destroying Hamas is necessary but not sufficient as the terrorest beast can live without a head as leaderless terror. And we need to stop the production of suicide bombers at the source. No more brainwashing of young children; perhaps no more parents urging their own children into martyrdom. It is WW3.0 (We now are at the WW3.01b stage.)
In a day and age like this, being a city on a hill, makes you a good target to site in on. No way a bunch of militant former goat herders should be allowed to hold us hostage over oil. If they ask a fair price, fine, if they should try to roll over us, we should roll over them.
One foot at a time. In robes or in costume. Perhaps all bus passengers should be nude???
