There's always someone who will insist that the sky isn't blue. Just like there will always be somebody, who will insist that this plane didn't come down because of an accident.
In both cases they are wrong, the problem is, they never want to admit it.

Tom Lynch & Jim Conrad, get bodyguards and food tasters.

Just a speculation but it's easily possible that the tail supports snapped enough in the wake turbulance to skew the tail so that the plane became un-controlable causing the plane to start to break up (engines coming off, etc) before the tail completely tore loose.
They have the voice recorder which tends to pick up sounds like explosions and they heard none before the flight data recorder started picking up drastic rudder swings.
No evidence of a bomb. Sorry conspiratorists.

Bump for similarities to TWA 800.

This confirms an eyewitness interview I saw on TV that day - The guy was out on a boat, heard a 'pop', looked up and saw the plane flying level and intact but with flames on the right side -
then said that part of the wing tore off, swung back and slapped the tail. The plane was flying level until this time. Said it wasn't until the tail was
KNOCKED OFF BY THE WING that the jet banked and went into a steep nosedive.
You know, I lived in central Jersey when the TWA 800 happened. Same thing happened with day-of-incident eyewitness accounts on local newsbroadcasts describing sitings of missile trails. Then, after the incident day, we never saw or heard another word from the mainstream media about these reports.

"Why it hasn't been released, I suspect, is because the investigation is ongoing. But I don't know the answer to that."You could make the tape public and still use the tape in the investigaion.
That way it would remove any conspiritorial types from claiming the tape was altered to fit the conclusion of the NTSB findings. The before investigation and after investigation tapes could be compared.-Tom

Explosive bolts?

Haven't you heard?
Eyewitnesses are the least credible of all witnesses.
I suppost that's why Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, et al were blown off by the politico's and media elite...

The eyewitness said there was absolutely no doubt about what he saw. If there were 1000 eyewitnesses to a thing, and you couldn't find a couple dozen to swear to contradictory, inconsistent with the physical evidence occurences, that would be strong evidence of a cover-up...

When good Americans and other sheeples witness an event like this they wait for the FBI and NTSB to tell them what they saw so that their stories can conform to reality.

While eyewitness accounts are sometimes unreliable, so is the record of the government reporting inconvenient facts.

As I told someone in another thread, Bob Jones of Bob Jones University had a dream or vision the night before this happened, of a man, not a muslim but perhaps a copy cat terrorist or disgruntled employee, who was fiddling with the hydraulic system. He called the FBI and told them but they weren't interested (this was BEFORE the crash). Wish they'd look into that possibility as well.

Eyewitnesses are not credible.
Now repeat after me "Eyewitnesses are not credible." It doesn't matter if fifty different people saw the same thing...haven't you heard of mass hallucinations?
