All of the Armies that Ever Marched, All of the Navies that Ever Sailed, All of the Legislative Bodies that Ever Sat, and All of the Kings that Ever Reigned...All of Them Put Together have not affected the Life of Man on this Earth so Powerfully as that One Solitary Life...

Here was a man."

Speaking as someone that doesn't believe in the Divinity of Jesus, or that he was anything other than just a human being ... I completely agree with your statement above.

Merry Christmas to you Mud, and all of the people close to you.

Mary Christmas to ALL at Free Republic. I love you ALL!

Thanks, my FRiend, and Happy Holidays to you as well. I was also struck by Johnny Cash's nuetrality on the issue of Jesus of Nazereth's Divinity...nothing about rising from the dead, walking on water, laying on of hands, or making water outta wine, just verifiable, inarguable FACTS. If believers of other dieties were to print similarly innocuous claims about folks central to their religion (i.e. Mohammed, Buddha, King David, Moses, etc.), I'd applaud that as well.

Religion, IMHO, was never meant to be a divisive element in the Lives of Men.
