I've put online a "Caption This Image" page. You can upload an image and add your own captions. It is currently only a curiosity, but could be a permanent FReepture (Free Republic Feature) in the future.

The "Caption This Picture" page's purpose is to caption humorous and strange pictures. Each comment can be scored and eventually the comments will be ranked by score.
I am going to add the ability to include your name if you wish to be associated with a witty caption, otherwise captions will remain anonymous.
CTP's second purpose is to test technologies I will use in future projects. You will see these technologies later in a photo album (which is required for what I describe in this first paragraph), abuse reports (you will be able to attach your name to a report, if you desire to do so), and the forum at large (the ability to rate comments.)
I should warn you the final URL of this project will change, which will likely break any existing links.
You must really like doing this. Thanks.
One last thought: will you have to have a photo moderator? Can I volunteer?! :)
Everyone FReep this caption! (Vote yes)

However, one suggestion: I think that it'd be better if all the captions for each photo were on the same page, kinda like they are on the caption threads.
That's all I can think of, functionality-wise. Additionally, if you decided to keep the feature, you could format the pages to blend in with the rest of FR -- you know, with the dark blue navigation bars and such.
