Yes, she had a plate put in her neck Aug. 15th, and "handsfulls of spurs" removed from around her cord... Doc said she was a few weeks- or days- away from "an incident that would have looked like a stroke" and left her dead or paralyzed! The 'one- month recovery' is going into its 4th month, and she *is* better, but it's awfully slow...
