Hi goodie
thank you for your contribution

Thanks for the compliment.
I was wondering about Never-Never Land, so I asked BadJoe. He told me to count it with the Unknown State totals. Approximately $500 came from "Never-Never Land".
Were they intended to be counted with Vermont's totals?

Not only that I am running out of Gas. I have been going at this since 4;30 this morning. But we have had a great day.
We have raised nearly $10,000 today alone.

Our check will be in the mail this week. :-D

Oops, now I'm confused. Early on, someone posted a picture of Peter Pan and associated it with a donation from Vermont because of the Civil Union law we have up here. Based on that, I made the assumption that whenever I saw never never land it was a Vermont donation.
If BADJOE says it means unknown, then that's what it is!
Thanks!

Here's the "Per-FReeper" listing... but let me include some disclaimers. This list does not include countries. It is calculated simply by taking the data from the state totals list, and dividing the total contributions by the number of FReepers that fly that particular state flag. (You can check up on me simply by dividing clikker's totals and dividing each state by the number of FReepers listed.) This list is not meant to to be 100% accurate (many FReepers donate for other states for many reasons, and many FReepers do not fly their state flag). We may also award totals from the 'unknown' category in a competition or two to make the thread even more interesting. I'm just trying to keep the competition flowing, and using state pride and state-competition to increase donations. Also, the smaller states have a chance to compete with California and Texas! =^)
Please remember that we're doing this to support FR. It's all in fun.

Back when I used to ride mororcycles, I went to buy a new helmet, as it was required by the leftists in our state. It bothered me that I had to spend the money for something that I disagreed with. I hastily went into the bike-shop and picked up a helmet that looked nice and was cheap, to accomodate the beaurocrats. The guy at the counter said to me; "hey...do you have a ten-dollar head?"
I was astounded at the question. I laughed and said; "No! My head's worth a helluva lot more than ten bucks!"
He replied; "Well, if you don't have a ten-dollar head, then don't buy a ten-dollar helmet."
Good point! Reminder...you get what you pay for.
You like free lies? Dan Blather, Tom Brokejaw, and Peepee Jennings will give you leftist garbage for free.
True freedom carries a price. That price is sacrifice. That sacrifice comes in the form of our lives, time, energy, desires, popularity and yes...sometimes, even cash.
Freerepublic is providing a forum like no other online, where like-minded conservatives can truly make a difference and Freeprepublic costs money to operate. Help them out, if you haven't already. Think about it.
If you just gave up one steak dinner out and gave that money to Freerepublic...then think about how long you enjoy a steak dinner compared to the enjoyment and the education and interaction that you have at Freeprebublic.
And yes...I just did help out, or I wouldn't have any right to post what I just posted.
Thanks JimRob et al for your efforts.
