San Francisco -- A leading AIDS expert in San Francisco said in an interview this week that he is so frustrated by the careless attitude gay and bisexual men have about safe sex that "maybe we should just stop" prevention efforts.

"Maybe we should just stop"

Heck, that's a better catch phrase for an aids campaign than "Just say 'no'" was for the drug campaign failure.

I have a catchy slogan for a AIDS prevention campaign ----

Don't let anybody stick anything up your butt!

the HIV prevention message has to be updated and designed by gay men. He said that stemming the spread of HIV will require creating environments where gay men can talk frankly about sex. If there is one thing we have had for the past couple of decades, it is frank talk about sex. What the homosexual community needs to know is how aids is spread. Maybe how their mommies got pregnant too.

I have two solutions. One is more insidious that the other.

Here is the tame solution. Contract with private labs in order to turn the HIV virus into a more virulent virus, one that kills within 24 hours of unprotected sex. This will have the effect that HIV contracted people will die off quickly. Very quickly that they will not be able to infect others.

Here is the insidious solution. Contract with yahoo.com to place banner ads with the anti-HIV message. You know the banner ads that pop up every single time you visit a yahoo site. (Some mini-camera firm used this advertising method, may their CEO freeze in Hell.)

The AZ gov't actually legalized sodomy here in Arizona.
Sodomy is the #1 cause of Aids is it not?

There is something terribly nihilistic and self destructive in the gay culture.

What's there to talk about? If you choose to live a high risk lifestyle, you need to take extra precautions or risk disease and death. What environment do you need to say that?

West said homophobia in the African American community contributed to his low self-esteem and subsequent self-destructive behavior that led to his becoming infected.

It is absurd to believe that there is more "homophobia" now than there was in the days before the AIDS crisis. What there is more of now is openly promiscuous homosexual behavior. That is a direct consequence of the change in attitudes brought about by the Sexual Revolution. Of course, the AIDS establishment--which is largely the gay establishment--will never admit that.

Man am I feeling guilty over this turn of events, who would have thought that not supporting a destructive lifestyle made me an accomplice in someone getting AIDS. Mother of God what have I done?
These people show no respect for life, theirs, their lovers or for the society they live in. They will forever be outcast until they begin to respect all people, and take responsibility for their behavior.

" HIV infection rates among gay and bisexual men are rising and few community leaders are expressing concern. "

Maybe they don't express concern because they know that there is no effective prevention for men who engage in anal sex.

Expressing concern would just spoil their party and discourage young men from choosing a gay lifestyle.

Gays refused prevention before AIDS when they knew hepatitis was rampant. When AIDS was identified they blamed Reagan, the Catholic Church, the Republican Party, all straight people, and probably some I left out. Instead of focusing on prevention in the gay community they insisted on a prevention campaign to the straight community, despite no evidence of need. Gays claimed the Reagan administration was not funding research and prevention, which was a lie.

The truth is that AIDS is funded way out of proportion to the numbers of victims, far more than heart disease or cancer. The "AIDS cocktail," offering some hope, was developed faster than almost anyone thought possible. The straight community, conservative and liberal, responded to this tragic disease with money for research and prevention and with hospice care and outreach, despite the lies to the contrary from gay "activists."

The result? Continued completely irresponsible sexual behavior from gays, including rampant promiscuity, sex with anonymous partners, unprotected sex and even knowing sex with infected men. All this with 110% knowledge of the causes and risks of AIDS.

Time to begin redeploying our medical research and prevention dollars will they will do some good.

Tim'm West, a 29-year-old gay man from Oakland, said the message of use-a- condom every time is no longer effective. "We need a different message," said West, who is African American and HIV- positive.

----------------------

The message should be, "Quit trying to jerk each other and the world aroud. Go to a good analytically trained therapist and get cured of gayness."

Already the replacements for AIDS and other so called diseases are being touted. Hep C is one of them, I have had 5 friends diagnosed with this "disease", two have died, one had a transplant, and the other is undergoing treatment. Reading about the way this problem is treated is quite frightening. The latest diagnosis was my friend Mike, he turned 50, went to the docs and had a full physical. They told him he was fine, except for a possibility of Hep C. After starting him on aggressive treatment for this "disease", he is cold all the time, can't sleep at night, and gets his rest in naps. Before he went to the doctors, he felt great. I have been trying to tell him about how his drinking in the past probably has more to do with his liver function than some virus, but the rhetoric of the medicine men is hard to refute. I have been looking for hard facts to help him with his decisions, but the weight of medical opinion is that he has a virus, and of course by giving him toxic substances to help his liver, he is getting worse. If you know any places on the web to go and look for info I would be grateful.

Don't let anybody stick anything up your butt!

Ain't that the truth. Additionally, hasn't it pretty much been documented that there are no hetrosexual aids cases? Now of course this is assuming that neither partner had sex with another infected person nor any hemopheliacs who got bad blood, but still that is what I read several months ago.

Far too much money is spent on a disease, though terrible, is mostly caused by contact between members of a group with bad habits. Spend it on other things like diseases had by normal people in far larger numbers than the gays.

Slightly off the point but, how can the belief that homosexuality is "normal" for some people even be justified? Nature has already ruled it is not. The proof is in the answer to a simple question.

If you moved all the gays to an island on their own, how many generations would they last?
