Shake the Nation A few years ago I spoke with a young couple as they were about to enter an abortion clinic. She was crying; she did not want an abortion. He, however, was insistentuntil I showed him a plastic model of what his baby looks like at 10 weeks. He instantly changed his mind, saying he had no idea his baby had arms, fingers, and eyes. Seven months later I held their newborn in my arms. This young man is not the only one who does not know basic biology. Regrettably, our laws reflect antiquated views that have not caught up with medicine or science. They reflect prejudice toward a class of humans who cannot defend themselves. Even worse, there are those who demand fealty to these outdated beliefs. They would require lawmakers and judges to pass a litmus test, to take an oath of loyalty to the unnatural and bigoted view that tolerates the killing of unborn babies. Abortion was thrust on us by Supreme Court justices, and extended even to include partial-birth abortion. The judges lack of honor for the Constitution and respect for life has caused the death of over 40 million babies and uncounted women from so-called legal abortion. Our country cannot afford any more judges who view the federal bench as their throne. Shake the Nation will help ensure that equal justice for allincluding the unbornis the standard for choosing federal judges. Through Shake the Nation, Senators and judges will be encouraged to come out of the Dark Ages of ignorance and prejudice. Rattles will be a symbol, a voice, for unborn babies who deserve Constitutional protections.

Also please add your signature to the petition for the unborn (and ask others to do likewise). These little ones need our voice to speak out for them. God Bless you!
