Jalalabad, Afghanistan (AP) - There's a lot of speculation about Osama bin Laden's whereabouts. But an Afghan militia leader says the terror suspect may be hiding inside a 13,000-foot-high mountain.
Hazrat Ali says bin Laden, along with Taliban members and al-Qaida fighters, may all be hiding in what's known as Tora Bora. It's a man-made complex built in a mountain not far from the Pakistan border.
Ali, who used the complex when fighting the Soviets two decades ago, says he's "70-percent" sure bin Laden is there.
Ali says he believes bin Laden wants to stay close to the Pakistan border.
The Tora Bora complex, with a doorway that is hidden by pine trees, runs more than a thousand feet into the mountain. And it's said to feature such modern conveniences as electrical wiring and a ventilation system.

How about sealing the "retreat" including the air holes? I hear cement works well. Or pumping something lethal into their air supply.

The Al-Badr I base in Jalalabad [34°25'00"N 70°27'00"E] is about 100 kilometers east of Kabul.
The Tora Bora base near Jalalabad was rebuilt on the site of a camp first constructed by the US Central Intelligence Agency in the early 1980s. According to one report, bin Ladin's "Abu Khabab" camp is focused on development and training with chemicals, poisons and other toxins. This camp is named after the Egyptian who runs it, Midhat Mursi who uses the name Abu Khabab. The camp, about eight miles from Jalalabad, is part of a complex of training sites known as Darunta [34°28'00"N 70°22'00"E], after a nearby stone dam.
Cool. I'd guess we have a have a good idea then of the best way to attack this target.
Let's Roll!
