Showing amazing courage when he stood his ground that day with his fellow rescue workers, Mike continued to display his bravery when weeks later, he stood on a national televised stage and offered a tribute to his own fallen brother and many of his comrades. 

Those who saw him grab hold of the microphone on the night of the Paul McCartney/VH1 benefit in New York will never forget the outstanding character he showed the world, when he told Osama Bin Laden to kiss his royal Irish ass.

At a time when the whole world was struggling to understand the meaning of these senseless  and horrific acts of cowardice, Mike stood tall and offered a bold statement of total defiance, which inspired us to put his words to music. The song song has brough both tears and laughter to those who have heard it...
