Huh! Yahshua is Yahweh Himself. David was a trinitarian:
You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever. Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, With Your glory and Your majesty. So, we have David speaking in the Spirit (3rd Person of the Triniy) with the Father (1st Persons) calling the Son (2nd Person) God.Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
And you must really have difficulty with the verse under discussion:
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. But again, we call Christ our Saviour. Now, have any of you that foolish credulity which would lead you to trust in a man for the everlasting salvation of your soul? If you have, I pity you: your proper place is not in a Protestant assembly, but among the deluded votaries of Rome. If you can commit the keeping of your soul to one like yourself, I must indeed mourn over you, and pray that you may be taught better. - From the Sermon.
These two translations are from The Anchor Bible and The Holy Bible< Hebrew publishing Co. I dont have a problem with the other scripture either. Is. 9:6... and his name shall be called Wonder of a Counsellor, Mighty Judge of the everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
As far as the Holy Spirit of Yahweh, in Hebrew it is refered to as she, just as wisdom is refered to as she. Both words are feminine in gender, but it doesn't make them persons. In the New Testament the Holy Spirit is sometimes he and sometimes it. Also the definite article is sometimes used and sometimes not in the greek. We all " see through a glass darkly" and prophesy in part.
Shalom
