Daily Prayer bump list
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS:
Heavenly Father, as we come closer to the day that we celebrate the greatest gift of all, Your Son Jesus Christ, keep us ever mindful of those around us. Let us not be afraid to share Your Word in whatever small way. Give us strength and courage to keep on fighting the good fight. Let us put on Your Armor and never to be afraid. Watch over those that can't be with their loved ones for whatever reason this season and touch their hearts so that they know You are there. Forgive me of my sins Father, and guide my steps every hour of everyday so that others can see You through me. Lead, guide and direct us. Heal the sick of body and of mind as Your Will sees fit so that You, not us, receive the glory. I thank You for the prayer warriors here and I thank You for all that You have blessed me with. For it's in Your Name, if it Be Your Will. Amen

I just learned from a fellow airline captain that the Capt.of AA #587 (Airbus, Nov. 12) was her good friend Ed States. They attended the same church in Princeton.I was sputtering for words to offer her, when I remembered this wonderful thread on FR.
The first moment I went wheels up in the B727, I was blown away with what a precious gift it is to be a pilot and enjoy a teeny, exhilirating glimpse of the world as He might see it. Every time I flew, I thanked Him for allowing me to experience such unsurpassed joy. Gruesome as it may sound, I would rather perish struggling, like Ed must have, to retain control of the airplane, than lie wasting away in a nursing home bed for years.
But we mourn the tragic loss of this fine captain, crew, and passengers. Can you help me in prayers for them? Thank you.

Father Lord we ask for your healing and blessings on our friends and their Loved Ones.
New grandbaby has a bad case of colic. Neither Matthew or his Parents are not getting much sleep. Doc's gas drops not working (as if they ever did work). Poor little fellow is in a lot of pain. I believe it is formula related. All my boys had problems handling "man made" formulas. Those things are 55% sugar and 27% oil. We ended up on skim cow's milk and vitamin drops. Stopped the colic when we switched them over.

They both feel the same way. Remembering your friend, this fine pilot's family and all the families left behind.
You are welcome here anytime, friend...

Prayers for the relief of this colic and lots of restful sleep for everyone! My Betsy had colic for three months straight, and I thought I would lose my mind.

Very little sleep. Loss of sleep is can be compensated for, BUT the pain Matthew has to suffer can't be. There is NO sense in letting babies suffer colic when there is a remedy for it. PARAGORIC (sp?) was used at one time. I used it on Matthew's dad. Two drops once or twice a day stopped the problem.
