The first moment I went wheels up in the B727, I was blown away with what a precious gift it is to be a pilot and enjoy a teeny, exhilirating glimpse of the world as He might see it. Every time I flew, I thanked Him for allowing me to experience such unsurpassed joy. Gruesome as it may sound, I would rather perish struggling, like Ed must have, to retain control of the airplane, than lie wasting away in a nursing home bed for years.
But we mourn the tragic loss of this fine captain, crew, and passengers. Can you help me in prayers for them? Thank you.
New grandbaby has a bad case of colic. Neither Matthew or his Parents are not getting much sleep. Doc's gas drops not working (as if they ever did work). Poor little fellow is in a lot of pain. I believe it is formula related. All my boys had problems handling "man made" formulas. Those things are 55% sugar and 27% oil. We ended up on skim cow's milk and vitamin drops. Stopped the colic when we switched them over.
My father is a pilot (Cessna), as is his best friend (UAL). They both feel the same way. Remembering your friend, this fine pilot's family and all the families left behind.
You are welcome here anytime, friend...
