CNBC "Hardball" host and Democratic Party insider Chris Matthews said Saturday that New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton can't wait to become president of ther United States.
"She's dyin' for it," Matthews told NBC's Tim Russert, on Russert's own weekend CNBC interview show.
RUSSERT: What about your fellow Goldwater groupie Hillary Clinton?
MATTHEWS: Ah, you know, you're a New Yorker, a New York stater - um - Hillary is dyin' for it. But she's also miserable right now because of all this patriotic stuff going on - she can't stand it.
Matthews recalled an incident where Mrs. Clinton seemed reluctant to pledge allegiance to the American flag.
"I remember Hillary - I'll tell you this about Hillary," Matthews told Russert. "She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.'
"What, are we on probabtion?,' Matthews exclaimed.
"When is she gonna lighten up about this sort of thing," the CNBC host added. "This is a great place instead of her constant complaining."

Thanks for correcting my earlier post.
Good thing Geraldo is on assignment in Afganistan for FOX...Hope he stays there a long, long, time.

Hillary clearly demonstrated her LACK of patriotism during Bush's speech following the terrorist attacks. I think all her opposition would have to do is run this clip:
That's hitler, all right: Bit**! Bit**! Bit**!Matthews recalled an incident where Mrs. Clinton seemed reluctant to pledge allegiance to the American flag.

Kinda says it all, in one little sentence.
You're right! That's why I think it's important to use Hillary's own techniques in countering the smoke screen that will surely be put up by her campaign and her accomplices, (aka the media).
In her book, The Final Days which I just finished last night, Barbara Olson points out how Hillary made excellent use of the words "you know" following the initial breaking of news of the pardon scandal to bring the listener in on the act and try to take the spotlight off of any participation by herself.
For example, she'd say......
"You know, I did not have any involvement in the pardons that were granted or not graned, you know, and I'm just very disappointed aboiut my borther's involvement."
I think Republicans should take a cue from her and use something like.....
"You know, Hillary showed NO patriotism and NO support for our country or the President's war on terrorism following the attacks of Sept. 11. She didn't even seem interested, you know, in revenging the attacks on New York. I'm sure you've seen this video clip."
***roll clip of Hillary frowning and not clapping***
LOL!
Doesn't this just say it all???
run hitlery run.
Barbara Olson's book is fantastic...we all know about the theiving Clinton whitehouse, but Olson's book does a great job of itemizing each insult to America...with footnotes!!
She reminds me of liberal "Catholics" who hate the pope and all that makes Christianity what it is but won't go.
The sooner the better.
Hillary, Why did one of your best friends attempt to befriend Linda Tripp???
