Will Osama Appear In Pakistan? The operating theory is that Osama bin Laden has had a plan all along to show up in Pakistan, have himself declared the "Imam al-Mahdi" (a long-prophesied Islamic savior-figure), and start a civil war in an attempt to gain control of Pakistan's nukes.
