I doubt it. If you are a member of an organization like that, you WILL attend, or else. Just like they were killing people who wanted to surrender...

In every Nation of the world there are people just like us, who worship God as best they know how, and let others do the same. And there are those who don't. Seems to me you are on the side who don't. Thank you for this post. It appears to me that for many people on this thread "letting live" is equivalent to betraying their own beliefs. I thought that the Western world, having practices fratricide for centuries, has abandoned religous intolerance. Some people here show me me that this attitude is alive and well.

As acouple good Muslims I would expect you two to agree... Oh, yes: you have uncovered a terrorist plot here. No, my friend, it is you who represents America that our Fathers did not found. You diagree with peacenicks, leftists, and the politically correct crowd. Buy you are unable to discuss anything: if a person disagrees with you, that person must be a Muslim?
That this conclusion is bejond the pale of rudimentary intelligence is pretty clear. It is the degree to which your hatrid and prejudice blinds --- that's what I find uncommon.
Of course, you do it all in the name of Christian purity and wave the Bible in the face of anyone who happens to be of just slightly different opinion. That justifies everythingNo I have simply uncovered FR posters that have a clear agenda..you joined last month and you post on Islamic threads alone..it is pretty clear..
Mocking only works if there is no element of truth in it..we have seen your people's terrorists threats..and actions..Your fathers did not "found" America. Those men did not worship the moon god, they did not veil their women or shoot them for failing to meet their standards..
I do not care who or how you worship..I do care that buildings are being knocked down and Americans are killed. I do care that "Americans" dance in the streets in celebration. I do care that you teach your young to hate Christians and Jews. Those are not things our founding fathers would have applauded.

And I thought DUh'ers had NO sense of humor.Sorry, I am new. What's DUm? Could you help me translate FRish into English?
To: Mark17
And obviously, some of the clowns here on FR are still asleep yep
To: Old Student
Shouldn't you be at the Muslum church right now? Are you late for Alla worship?
Please refrain from trying to push your religion on me.
I have my own thanks.
The Koran is not mine. You can have it.

antichrist ... to use such terms, especially during this time, is not promoting peace." You had many, many chances for peace. YOU BLEW IT!

DU is the Democratic Underground. Anyone who disagrees with some of the more rabid posters is accused of being an agent provocateur from DU. If you've only been on FR for a short time, they really load it on. Hang in there. There are decent and honest people here. Some of them are still in shock from what has happened recently, and have perhaps forgotten what this country is all about, but will regain their sense of perspective. Some are the same people who would decry in an instant the same things being said about their own group, but think it ok because this is the ENEMY we're talking about. Tunnelvisioned and mindblind, they are.

From what I have seen so far, the spirit of Illbay is the spirit of anti-Christ.nodding in agreement from Texas..

Mass murder by the Muslum religion is wrong, no matter how politically correct you want to spin it.
If their Bible says kill anyone they dissagree with, it's wrong, it's just plain evil.
The nations churches should all follow suit and put up more signs. Let the truth be heard, loud and clear.
May the souls of our innocent dead be remembered.
No politically correct-type excusers will ever change my mind.
Mass murder is evil.
To: Old Student
Tunnelvisioned and mindblind, they are. From a person who just finished trying to teach us to love one another! I'm shocked!!!

"You all are at war against an enemy that can't fight back." That is what I call tyranny and barbarism.

Neither Hinduism nor Buddhism rejects our Christian theology that Jesus is the Son of God.
They don't even get that far. To my understanding they don't even accept the theology that God, period, exists.

Mass murder by anyone is evil. Period. Planning the mass murder of people of a different faith than yours is just as evil, when not all of them are guilty of the mass murder you plan to avenge. I don't object to killing the murderers, but if you become one of them, I won't object to your getting it in the neck, either. If you're just one of those who is forgetting that not all black, white, southern, northern, islamic, christian, jewish, indian, or whatever (pick your own boogeyman) are evil, you ought to remember it. Ask not for justice. You, too, will be judged.
If you want to address specific cases, like Mohammed Atta, where there is evidence that he is, in fact, guilty, I'm all for trying him, and if he is found guilty, executing him (yes, I know he already took care of that in this specific case, but try to get the general idea). There are several hundred, if not a few thousand people being held for questioning, and in any case where they are, in fact, guilty, I'm perfectly willing to play executioner. My objection is to painting them all (whoever they are) with the same brush. Partly it is numbers. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, and I don't want them all P.O.ed at my country. I am willing to kill a few thousand of the extremists. As I noted before, I've lived, at least temporarily, in three Muslim countries, and met a lot of Muslims. Not all of them are bloodthirsty monsters. Just like not all Americans are Democrats, or Republicans, or Libertarians, or whatever.

Buddhists, also, splintered into factions. Some do not believe in God, and some believe that Buddha is god. The ones who don't believe in god (or God) do believe that desire is what causes suffering, and that to eliminate suffering, they must eliminate the self that desires. Their commandments are much simpler than ours (judeo-christian) in that there are only 3.
Cease to Do Evil.
Practice to Do Good.
Perfect your own soul.
The Hindus believe that there are millions of gods. Most of them admit ours is in there somewhere. It would be more proper to say they have millions of religions, possibly. Ask one of them. Or several thousand, more likely.

How dare anyone say that these people have no right to sound the warning because they may offend someone. I never said that they didn't have the right to sound the warning. I said it was "tacky." That the method and phrasing of the warning was more annoying than convincing.
I'm not Christian, but I often get kick out of reading Church signs when their clever. Some are simply informative. Some are just annoying, even when I agree with the sentiment. (I'm not sure whether I do in this case.)
Muslims have every right to worship as they please. Religious leaders have every write to warn against Islam. I have every right to be a critic of the methods and phraseology used.
To: Old Student
So, what university did you attend to get your Holier-than- thou God degree?
You may find this odd, but people can, and will, dissagree with you.
It's something you may have to learn to accept.
I say keep the sign up. I'm all for it. The Koran says kill those who are not in agreement with their God.
You attempt to "teach" those who do not agree with you.
You and the Koran appear to be twins, eh?
Maybe you should spend less time with those A-rabs.
To: sweetliberty
Well, I guess I should have made my earlier post about Moslem wahabism more unambiguous since you seem to have included me on a list of apologists for Islam, or at least people upset with Rev. Graham and the pastor who put up the sign. I support Franklin Graham's statement, and I too believe that "the spirit of Islam is the spirit of antichrist."
Do I believe all Moslems are evil? No. Do I hate individual Moslems? No. But Islamic doctrine does deny the divinity of Christ, and his death and resurrection, and thus by definition is anti-christ.
Do I oppose further Moslem immigration? Yes. Because Islam is anti-democratic also, as witnessed by the countries which are mostly Islamic.
