Nobody said there are not a lot of good people in Islam. The problem is that the Koran advises some things that are incompatible with freedom of religion, and advises attacking or killing "infidels".

By the way, the author said nothing condemning the attack on the WTC, or repudiating these repugnant verses in the Koran.

We don't hate all muslems for christs sake. We hate the bullshit that is being played out in the middle east. The sponsoring of terrorists by rich arab states who then clame they know nothing. If your too dumb to understand that most muslems in SOME of the arab states would like to dominate the world with their religion then your way past reason. I would suggest to Ms. Reni that she is an atypical Muslim woman. Most of her sisters are NOT studying to be doctors. You might want to look at the Revolutionary Association of Afghan Women (RAWA) site for a completely different perspective.

Sorry, but wrong. God has more commandments than love. People don't want to think of having to suffer consequences for their sin, so they choose to only think of God as love. There is much more. But thank God for Jesus Christ who suffered for us. Islam is not the way to Heaven. We can only get their through Jesus Christ. Is there any way we can ask her questions? A reasonable q & a session would be more productive. I would love to know her opinion on the WTC attacks which she did not mention. I think that is part of the problem, most Muslims ignore that elephant in the living room. Or NYC as the case is.

Of course. You must understand, you are being shown what you do not want to see for a purpose--to seduce you into looking. To entice and entrap you, to make you think the world is full of evil around every corner. In short, to make you feel that you have to know "what is going on in the world"--and that the way to learn that is to look at those pictures and hear those reports.

It is hogwash. Those reports may be true--probably are--but they represent only a very small portion of reality even if so; they are a half-truth. Look to the truth that endures.
