Can someone answer these questions? What dates were we last on high alert for a credible attack? What is the incubation period for inhalation anthrax? I'm just wondering if this poor woman's symptoms coincide with the alert times. If so, she could just be the first of many.

The lady's name is Tilly Lundgren. She is mostly confined to home, they are mystified how she got anthrax.

Me too. Last week they closed the post offices in Ft Collins, CO due to anthrax. Turned out to be a false alarm. But, it certainly brings out the tin miners.

Hey my parents met each other in Ansonia at Warsaw Park in 1957 when they met at a polka fest held there. There isn't much there since that factory burnt down. I'm originally from Bristol but now live in Cheshire about 10miles from Oxford, now glad I've never gone there.

I heard it. They said that one of the people that got the call was a wrong number and said that the person sounded, "Middle Eastern", and sounded very excited and said something like, "It's a go?" Do you remember what the person said?

CN was intensively farmed at one time. Anthrax spores lie in the ground indefinitely. Was she out raking leaves?

A couple of months ago, her death certificate would have read "pneumonia" and no other tests would have been done.

Actually, Dodd and Kennedy did NOT receive anthrax letters. There were minimal traces of anthrax found in their offices which are believed to be due to cross contamination from the Daschle and Leahy letters.

The only letters so far are the ones to Daschle, Leahy, Brokaw and the New York Post. Oh yeah, and the missing one from Florida...

That whole Florida thing still puzzles me. CNN reported on their website this week that anthrax had been found on all three floors of the American Media Inc. building and the CDC has decided it's too big of a job for them to clean up so it is being done by a private contractor. That's a lot of anthrax spread around the building.
