Well, Kilroy WAS here, but he hasn't been seen much since the 40s (back when FreeRepublic was in it's very early days - remind me to tell you about how FR was actually an outgrowth of the old Manhatten Project, which contrary to popular belief was NOT the atomic weapon program, but actually a program to breed airborne cheese-eating, sister-biting Mooses in our war against the Axis Powers... but I digress...) - this guy is actually his son, Melvin.

I dont think this is the same guy. The jacket is different (see the breast patches) and he's hatless in one. If it really was him why did he wait so long to id himself?
P.S. For that person that asked about what he was doing at the crash. . .I think this picture was taken about 4 years earlier.

Oh, come on...everyone knows. He and Ted Nugent surfed down on the wreckage and were met by Chelsea who gave them latte's. George Carlin was there too, and he gave them each five pounds of Wisconsin cheese. There was a moose up there as well, but it bit Chelsea on the arm and ran away. LOL! A+ effort.

They look like stripes to me, not patches, but they seem consistent. The lack of a date stamp on all photos does distrub me.
