It looks like the White House superimposed on the top half of lag, with a mirror image of the WH on the bottom half. Don't know if that's right, but that's what it looks like to me.

Can you read the inscription on the flag?
"The buck stops here?" [I don't know].

God bless the President and the First Lady....these are the types of Americans we want as our leaders.

That is what it looks like to me also. I thought YaYa123's eyes were keener than mine. Hence my earlier reply. . .

And here's her nibs just trying to get some attention. She can't believe she didn't think of doing a radio address.

If that is a slipcover on that sofa, I am truly impressed (seriously). I love these people--they are so down-to-earth and REAL.

Laura Bush has shown incredible courage. She knows that her family has become a target of the worst scum of the earth. AND SHE HAS DECIDED TO FIGHT BACK! May we follow her example.

Is it a reflection of the Jefferson Memorial shimmering off the water in the Capitol Mall?
To: MeeknMing
I love the way that this honorable First Lady is truly making her mark. First, the conference with the National Press Club -- a first. Then the first "solo" radio address.
I remember all the talk about a "Co-Presidency" from the last administration -- it was anti-American and anti-Constitution. I believe that Laura Bush will be remembered as one of this country's finest First Lady's who truly stood up for her convictions and values with quiet courage. She'll also be remembered for the love, true partnership with, and support of the individual we elected to lead us through this nation's most difficult times.

It's obvious we all are
so enjoying these years of the Bush reign. Pray for the continued safety each morning and then eagerly look forward to what the First Family accomplishes that day. Even with the war continuing, life seems upbeat and hopeful.
Thanks much for the wonderful post.

True words well spoken - Thank YOU!
To: esther2
The NOW must be having a cow.Especially after some presidential historian on msnbc said it was a true feminist speech. He and the host were raving about the address.
hehe, Laura spent 5 minutes talking about women and the children. sinator hillary! probably gnawed off a hand!

Where do the taliban come up with these rules. Is it written in the Koran that you can't be happy?I don't know about that, but here's what's written in the Bible: "Praise him with the sound of trumpet; praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sound cymbals."
Christianity is a religion of joy and celebration, Islam is a religion of fear.
