Good guess - (your #5). But my guess is that Hillary's anti-American Marxism was just pouring out of her innards. She couldn't contain it in the face of the blatant heroism of the Americans who went in to rescue their fellow citizens and of the stellar, firm but moved emotionally, leadership of President Bush. She still lives in her thuggish tyrant's delusional world that she is still in power and President Bush never "won" the election. Further, and this is most significant:

No kidding. I can't tell you how many feminists I have known who live in a permanent state of fury. It isn't the loud rage of a maniac but a constantly submerged anger. Many of them are bottom-heavy, like Lady Macbeth.

The few times Lady Macbeth has looked pleasant, feminine, or happy are those moments when she screwed up her acting ability to the max. All the accounts of her normal behavior suggest that she is normally angry. She seems to go from anger to physical fury rather easily. So I think we just saw her relaxed, being herself. She might have hoped to rally the extreme Left around her. Maybe. More likely she was suffering from extreme jealousy. She lost her position of power and at the great speech felt the whole world turning to President Bush.

Lady Macbether knows better than all of us how weak the Big Lug is. I imagine that would also peeve her, to realize that Bush was being a real man while the Rapist cowered in a fetal position on the sofa (until he was before the cameras). That's what Dick Morris said about Clinton. She took over while he assumed a fetal position on the couch.

I suggest going easy on Dominick Dunne. His daughter was murdered and the thug got off. I have lost two daughters from illness. Believe me, that is nothing compared to murder. I have known several parents whose children were murdered. No one recovers from it. I respect Dunne for going after the rich trash murderers who kill and get away with it. He really broke the Mosley case - along with Mark Furman.

While we are talking about camera behavior, Dunne is right about being rude. There is no place for it. If I didn't want to hear President W. C. Fields, I would not show up. Mugging and shunning are disrespectful of the office of the president. Tip O'Neil used to act like an idiot during Reagan's speeches. I thought it reflected on Tipsy and not on Dutch.

I am aware of his family history, and the murder of his daughter, and yes, I've read two of his books...Season in Purgatory, Two Mrs Grenvilles,and they were amusing diversions, but not brilliant, and he's never shown anything that warrants your adulation.By all means, you continue to enjoy him, but I still think he's a middle rate scribbler who lacks judgement and wisdom.
