The response of the voters should be, "Not another d*mned dime until we find out what happened to the $300 millio, and the people behind the losses are in jail." This is not a situation in which the proper response is "Opps. Sorry about that. Can you spare another $300 million for a cup of coffee?"

I didn't want to start a new thread for this so I'll put it here. I'm in San Francisco and I just saw a commercial for the city promoting itself. One of the things it boasted about was that SF spends $40,000 per year per homeless person. Yes, that's right, they BOASTED about this. What I'm seeing in the city is scores of vagrants pissing all over the streets, begging at every stoplight, and sleeping in every other door way. It's rather despicable. They could've just written a check for $40K to each homeless person and they'd be living in style. Where in the hell are they spending this money and can't they recognize the absurdity in boasting about spending that much per person on a problem that has obviously not improved.
