“More than a few” idiots, I presume. Seriously, is there anybody who believes that Osama, from a cave in Afghanistan, can steer a plane with no engines or tail into a guy’s house on the other side of the world?
Real weird coincidence though.
Among those who raced to the scene was Firefighter Michael Moran, who lost his brother John on Sept. 11 and who slammed terror chief Osama bin Laden during last month's televised "Concert for New York" at Madison Square Garden.
"Osama bin Laden, you can kiss my royal Irish ass," Moran told the cheering thousands at the benefit Oct. 20. "I live in Rockaway, and this is my face."
Moran's widowed sister-in-law, Kim, lives just 10 blocks from the crash site.
"There [are] still funerals here . . . This is a beautiful, tight-knit neighborhood and it's just devastating," she said, adding that right after the crash, "I thought of my husband and I thought of his brother. I hope for Michael's sake this wasn't terrorism because he'll feel responsible," she said.
"He lost his brother, I lost my husband. I would hate for this to mean there will be more heartbreak here."
