I read alot of the firemen and policemen live in that area. I doubt the vengeful one will show her face there. I thought that as well, seeing as how she didn't show up in the Veteran's Day parade. I would expect that after the NYC concert, her public appearances would have to be carefully scripted in front of "friendly" audiences- unions, gays and suchlike.

Gore's been keeping a fairly low profile -- he's given a few speeches which were already scheduled prior to 9/11, and has been nothing but effusive in his praise for Bush. FWIW, it doesn't seem like he has the obsessive need for the spotlight that the Clintons do.

Yes, I know how the saying's supposed to go, but they manage to do it so hamhandedly and grotesquely. Just once, I'd like them to quietly offer their condolences and then SHUT THE F UP. Just once they should refrain from making it all about them. Just once is all we ask.
