They are introducing an upcoming piece as if this might finally settle the issue once and for all. CNN is reporting that by counting legal votes and undercounts Bush wins.

In other words, Gore would have won only by getting ballots counted that no sane, intelligent or honest person would recognize as properly voted ballots. I think the lefties that still believe this nonsense ought to ask themselves how they would have reacted if Gore had been ahead and Bush had argued that those ballots ought to count in his favor. If they're honest, they'd admit that even a year later, they'd still be laughing and saying (not just to themselves, either) "can you believe the nerve of that idiot?" Certainly nobody would have taken Dub seriously enough to let him drag it out for over a month. The Florida election was not a thing of beauty, Bush surely didn't win going away, but Bush won fair and square. There's no way Team Gore could have changed that without making a mockery of the process. Not that that stopped them from trying.

I love it! Gore got too greedy in his election fixing. If he would have agreed to count everything, instead of just what he thought were the safe votes, he would have made it. Perhaps he will notice the irony as he comtemplates his big loss for the next thirty years.

If you count all the undervotes as votes for Gore and all the overvotes as votes for Gore and all the votes for Gore as votes for Gore and all the votes for Bush as votes for Gore, then Gore would have won by the narrowest of margins. This is the scenario that these idiots want to sell us.
