It turned out that Gore got almost no margin out of Miami Dade. The place despite all the sound and fury turned out to be irrelevant. What was relevent is that Palm Beach used a more restrictive standard than Broward. That was the key event in this saga I think.

OK, first does anyone hear realize that all of your bickering and snubbing of these "illegal" votes is just making you look stupid. These same votes would have all been counted as the media did had the election come down to Texas and we had to go by their election laws(instituted by GW thank you very much). And anyone who thinks that GW is getting the 85-90% approval rating rather than the office he holds, is smoking crack. That approval rating is a gift in honor of the office of President in a time of national crisis. Bush is a dufus. He lost FL, he lost nationally, he had to have the supreme court STOP the vote counting so he could win. I mean, he would have won had it continued and yet people would rather see him be placed into office by the SCOTUS rather than by the will of the people???? How screwed up is that?? GW didn't win anything and niether did Gore. The election was stopped and GW was given the job. And that is what sucks. That we couldn't elect a president, we had to have the supremes decide for us - and you people LIKE IT!!!!......sad, sad, sad He will not last more than 4. Thank god!!!
