Here's something else that'll ruffle your feathers -
San Francisco, Saturday, November 10 - "Night of Heroes" to benefit the September 11th Fund and
the Say Hey Foundation.
Master of Ceremonies Lon Simmons, with special guests Willie Mays, Bill Clinton, Mayor Willie Brown,
Rob Schneider and Sharon Stone. Tickets $600. 1(650)327-6297.
Say Hey! Say Ho! Bill Clinton is no heroooo!
And, the September 11th Fund gots some 'splaining to do giving $171,000 to aid terrorist suspects being held,
instead of to the victims' families.

But I'm extremely skeptical.I'm with you on this -- 'Trust but verify'. Maybe I'm naive for my age, but I tend to take people at their word, unless given evidence to the contrary.

Miss Clinton, a postgraduate student in international relations at University CollegeDon't look like she's hittin' the books very hard. Maybe she'll be changing her thesis to "BAD INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS.

Dem. favorites don't need courage. There's a CYA team waiting to cover every faux pas. They can do anything and the press will bury or change the story to protect the perps. No risk for Daschle being called on his daily lies, no risk for the Clintons, no worry for McAuliffe w/ his illegal financing, etc....got the press, got the NY/DC courts...this takes courage? Want courage, see Bush and Rumsfeld face the pack of DNC presstitutes with patience and conviction...that's courage.

Publicity stunt. How much you wanna bet the Clintoons' PR folks wrote the press release for this one?

Hmmmmmmm.................
Could it be I've been too hard on Chelsea?
At least she's demonstrating FOR America on foreign soil. Unlike, alledged bio-daddy Bubba.
In this instance, she gets a thumbs up and an atta-girl.
To: Pokey78
Don't rush to congratulate her yet! Dick Morris called her two hours earlier and said his focus group thought it would help her 2024 Presidential bid if she was to show up and heckle the peace rally.

Let's hope she doesn't follow the polls like her father and that this is genuine. ?

Chelsea's actions were obviously staged. BINGO!!! And yet a lot of folks here on the FR are suckers for the staged act. Probably the same folks who got teary eyed a couple of years ago when they were fooled into thinking that Craig Livingstone had "found God."
To: MissAmericanPie
but my gosh, she hasn't even had a chance to grow into who she is yet, and right now she has no more of an idea of who she will be than I do
I don't agree. Granted, you're not absolutely set in concrete at that point, but you've been formed to a large extent by the age of 21. If you don't have a solid moral foundation by that point, you're unlikely to acquire it later. I know there's some reformed liberals on this site, but there's plenty of us here who have always been conservative thinkers.

Could you see a Thanksgiving dinner with Chelsea looking at her father and saying, "You know, I was lurking at the FreeRepublic the other day and I think they are right about__________(fill in the blank)."Could you see a Thanksgiving dinner with chelsea looking at her father and saying "...Yes I am! And Mike Tyson is the dad!"
KEEP ON FREEPIN' ON!!!

As written by Terry McAuliff! This is a total crock...methinks the uglee one is thinking of running for elective office in New York.

Miss Clinton...arrived making a lot of noise. She had gas, perhaps? ;~)

She found it difficult encountering "anti-American feeling" from peace demonstrators.
I found it difficult encountering anti-American feeling from eight years of her father's subverting virtually every one of our country's institutions while he attempted to enrich himself and indulge his sexual appetites.
otoh it could be that a little explosion in the big apple hit close enough to home that she decided to reevaluate who her friends and enemies really are.
Maybe she will even ask Mommie Dearest whether the hug with the first lady of terrorism (Mrs. Arafat) was really appropriate. ;-)

I have a question. What is the difference between us Clintoon haters and a Chelsea hater? I abhor both of the Hillbillies and I thought that made me a Clintoon hater, not a Bill hater or a Hill hater.
I dislike all three now( who the h*ll thought about the tax rebate during that dreadful day) and I would personally prefer you refer to me as "Oh Clear-Thinking One."
Much obliged.

Whaaat? Craig Livingstone found God? Get outta town!. Must have missed that one. Don't know about Chels tho. Young kid has been shamelessly used by her folks, and she had a lot of pain I'm sure. Surest way to get even would be to become all that they despise. Just a thought, mind you and it will take a whole lot of evidence, but she is young and I'll bet very angry.

Given what Comrade Klinton said earlier this week, is a "Thanksgiving" dinner something that he'd do?

Betcha mommy and daddy will be very upset when they find out she was defending America on foreign soil. Well, she's one up on her daddy. When Bill was there he protested AGAINST the USA and our military during the Viet-Nam era. And of course, he was a draft dodger.
