I have a hard time taking this article seriously as it does not appear that the author read the Harry Potter books, as he has many details wrong - for example, he calls Remus Lupin, a major character who appears in almost every chapter in the third book, "Romolus Lupus", he ignores the fact that Harry and his friends' good moral choices result in the 'happy endings' and that when they do do things out of bad motives, they tend to go wrong (Ron is angry, tries to curse Malfoy, and ends up burping slugs. Harry completely misjudges Professor Snape, missees the real villian, and nearly gets killed. I could go on....)
Bottom line, read before criticising. If you still don't like them, I respect your opinion, think you're wrong, and we'll be able to have an intelligent conversation.
I agree with you completely. Thank you!
