Clinton blames America
© 2001 WorldNetDaily.com
Why was the World Trade Center destroyed by kamikaze-style Islamic terrorist airline hijackers?
Why did 5,000 American perish Sept. 11?
Why was the Pentagon attacked?
To hear former President Bill Clinton explain it, the United States of America is "paying a price today" for its past sins of slavery and for looking "the other way when a significant number of native Americans were dispossessed and killed."
That's what he told 1,000 students at Georgetown University Wednesday evening, according to news reports.
"This country once looked the other way when a significant number of native Americans were dispossessed and killed to get their land or their mineral rights or because they were thought of as less than fully human," Clinton said. "And we're still paying the price today."
After eight years of Bill Clinton, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything. Yet, I've got to tell you, this statement and its timing take my breath away. I'm nearly speechless nearly.
Just a few weeks ago, I recall Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson being pilloried for suggesting that America needed, as part of an act of contrition over the terrorist attacks, to answer for its past and present sins. There was outrage. People were incensed. How dare they?
And, indeed, their timing could have been better.
But this is the former president of the United States! Indeed, this is the former president, most well-remembered for his well-publicized knack for committing sin without remorse, without confession, without acknowledgement and certainly without repentance.
Now, less than two months after the most dramatic attack on the United States in its history, he is lecturing the American people on their collective guilt. He does this in full view of the whole world, including our enemies.
What on earth does America's history with slavery and Indian atrocities have to do with Islamic terrorism in the 21st century? Only Bill Clinton sees a connection.
I guess he doesn't realize that slavery still exists today throughout much of the Islamic world. I guess he doesn't realize that our enemies in this war still persecute and kill indigenous peoples. And I guess he doesn't realize his own personal and political culpability for the tragic events of Sept. 11.
If Bill Clinton knew America had it coming, why didn't he do anything to warn the country? Why didn't he do anything to prevent it?
Let's recall the climate Bill Clinton created upon taking office in 1993.
In an unprecedented action, he fired every U.S. attorney in the country, replacing them all with his own political appointees. He brought in Janet Reno as attorney general, who would personally supervise the incineration and massacre of innocent men, women and children at a church in Waco, Texas. He hired as FBI director, Louis Freeh. The FBI issued a report, on Clinton's watch, explaining that the No. 1 terrorist threat facing America came from right-wing Christians, not Islamists.
After the Oklahoma City bombing, his FBI ignored evidence of a link to Osama bin Laden. After the downing of TWA Flight 800, his FBI ignored the overwhelming eyewitness evidence of a missile attack on the civilian airliner. That's because Bill Clinton saw only one threat to his own political ambitions and that threat came from the right in the form of a vast conspiracy.
He coddled the Taliban in Afghanistan, pouring U.S. taxpayer aid into that corrupt, oppressive and backward regime. His hand-picked "Bin Laden Task Force" missed opportunities to take out the terrorist who would wreak so much havoc on this country. The FBI had more important priorities looking under every bed in America for a member of the vast, right-wing conspiracy.
I do agree with Bill Clinton on one thing: America does have some things to reflect on, some sins of the past for which we will be forced to pay over and over again, some transgressions that are unexplainable, horrible, unimaginable.
And none of those errors can top the fact that we as a nation we as a people elected this grotesque caricature to the highest office in the land.

Bump!
But really no surprise.
C'mon libs, where's the outrage????
He11, even Chelsea Clinton says she "doesn't subscribe to and in fact resents the theory that America is somehow to blame for this" (new Talk magazine article)
What is our President to do about it?
He will make more pictures with $lick and Hilly.
Corruption to the core.
It was nice country though.
that includes you clintoon
An utter disgrace.
At the end of his speech, Mr. Clinton -- who was impeached for lying under oath about a sexual relationship with a 21-year-old White House intern -- said the entire issue revolves around "the nature of truth." "This battle fundamentally is about what you think about the nature of truth," he said, noting that God has imposed on us the inability to ever know "the whole truth." He also championed women's rights in Afghanistan, saying the reason "you see all those sanctimonious guys beating those women with sticks" is because the country's rulers demand strict adherence to the rules. |

The rape took place while Bill was running for governor. Hillary came bursting into the room to talk to two people, one of whom I personally know. She said "You won't believe what this &^%$#@#$%^ did now. He tried to rape some b*tch."

This ridiculous and out of touch rant would be laughed at and lampooned if made by anyone on the right.
Do you get the implication? As if Clinton's ridiculous USA-loathing diatribe justifies the NAACP's truck dragging ad back during the campaign!! Was that the intent? Do President Bush's high poll numbers suggest that black voters are softening against him, and plantation owner Clinton had to step in to reclaim the loyalty of his slaves?
To understand the refractory nature and depth of clinton psychopathy, it is especially instructive to parse the following:
By creating a causal connection between 'abuse of women' and 'requiring strict adherence to the rules' while, at the same time, promoting himself as some sort of champion of women's rights, clinton, with an equal dose of dementia and legerdemain, justifies his own wanton disregard of "the rules" as he transmutes his rapes of women and country into a bizarrely patriotic brand of feminism. |

After the way they they protected him, they'll never be outraged at anything he does. Besides, he's their greatest fundraiser and they can't look a gifthorse in the mouth. They all suck.
The bum ought to be brought up on treason charges!!! Imagine if Herbert Hoover had given a speech in 1941 blaming Pearl Harbor on the unfairness suffered by Japaneese immigrants during the 19th century. It's the same idea at work here.
